Samsung has always been at the forefront in the phablet market, but from all indication the Korean company isn't showing any signs of slowing down anytime soon as it plans to increase its stake in that category even more in 2014.

a follow up on its recent quarterly earnings report, Hyunjoon Kim Samsung Executive Director stated on a conference call with reporters and analysts  that the company focus is going to be more on its release of mobile phones with screens in the 5 to 6 inches range. an indication which seems that Samsung will also expand its Galaxy Grand and Galaxy Mega lines, not just the Galaxy Note phablets.
HE also mentioned that beyond focusing on just the physical dimensions of the phones, the company would be working on improvement on some of its key features such as S Pen functionality and Multi-Window.

While we’re used to Samsung releasing many new handsets through out the year, it seems we may be in for ones that will continue to stretch the boundaries of just how big is big enough when it comes to your phone.
